So my fuel pump was on the way out and I have the bouncy fuel guage so I decided what the heck its only eight bolts right....Took the metal scrub pan off of the tank and that when the trouble started. Any who here a some pics and yes I know I will be the only one to know what I did to the gas tank but thought it would look good!!!!
So the pass through clip broke on the tank strap and I had to cut it and replace the bolt, the rest of stuff I did was clean the skid plate and tank and painted it with duplicolor bed liner. That all was pretty easy but it took me like an hour to get the pump assembly out of the tank because the previous owner put some kind of putty in the cracks of the lock ring and I had to pick it all out but everything works now thats the good part.
