Fuel injector harness/spark plug burned.. potential causes?

I'm still blown away that your spark plug boot to coil fell off. that leads me to think that was the point of the heat/flame/spark or whatever and that somehow jumped to the wires, or just over loaded them till the coating caught fire. but then you put a new plug wire on and it drove home.

take about some freak stuff.

I'm posting from mobile this time so I apologize for any weird spelling and formatting. I got the old coils out. I don't see anything blatantly wrong. I did notice something that looks like tape or something on the coil that burned.. But it looks like it had been there for a very long time and wraps around the whole bracket.

Also the burn marks appear to be from coil to plug based on color.. Still super weird.
