fuel filter

Im having trouble removing the fuel filter on my 5.3 flex 04 yukon.

All vehicles have fuel filters. Sorry, never taken it apart. But you may want to describe your issue better. If it is locked up due to rust, then i would spray with penetrating oil and let is soak overnight.

Some of the fuel filters were in the tank with a water separator in line. Or he is at an inline fuel filter and just isn't sharing enough detail. Rock Auto does show an inline filter for this. I believe he is having trouble with the clips that you press to release the line. Common problem in areas where salt is on the roads. Auto parts stores do sell repair kits if he breaks something. But again, more details would be much better.

If I had to guess its the inline filter on the frame. My 03 was extremely rusted and had to basically cut the fuel line and install a new one in. Just go to an auto parts store - as Ron said, they make kits specifically for this.

Hey I'm sorry, hit replay before I was ready. Yes I'm having trouble with the clips, so called quick connectors. The tool they said works for it is giving me problems also.
