Front Differential Fluid

'08 Owner's Manual calls for front differential fluid as SAE 80W-90, not noting synthetic.
If a synthetic of the weight is found, would it be ok?
Would it cause leaks being that the original was probably not synthetic?

Just put back in what you took out.

Synthetic is over hyped anyway. Just change it more often.

New dinosaur oil is better than old synthetic oil
