Footwell light Foss !!!! Get some. 20 minute mod
Got mine from a salvage yard for free

@05Single

Did I miss this footwell mod in your build thread? Details please.

Want to see you do the underhood lighting with those eagle eye LEDs.

Need ideas and your clever write up. :popcorn:

Footwell light mod is on the interior master mod list.
Didn't do a write up, but it's simple. And yea yesterday I did add and edit pics of the lights to an existing post about my interior lights I painted.
Although I tried it on my cousins 06.
and it didn't work. :wtf:

I'm still thinking of how to do the hood lights. I'll do them when I do my swiss cheese mod and other small tasks next time I'm under there. :secret:

Impact windows installed > than Tahoe headlight retro. Hurricane protection and house projects down south are trumping my truck at the moment. Going to have to wait on that particular mod. At least I have a perfect view of the truck as she sits in the carport waiting for the next mod...I did Rain X the new windows of course.

Any squeaking from brakes? Trying to decide go back to OEM as I have cheap summit rotors and hawk pads that squeal lol

@Slammedchevy01

Sorry man I did not see these posts. I'm usually right on it. Absolutely no squeaking from my brakes. I turn off the radio with the windows down often, just to listen for any weird noises, squeaks, etc.... Nothing. I've been very happy with what I did. Is it night and day difference from the OEM setup...maybe not. Looks yes, function...well considering a 2 ton land yacht, no.

Kind of wish I had tried the NNBS upgrade, but that was more than I wanted to spend at the time and BBK was beyond what I wanted to spend as well. She does not stop on a dime, but the pedal fade is better and I can feel more grip and seems to be limited dust. I mean the wheels get dirty, but they get a good wash anyways.

I have used rattle cans, quarts and clear coat from automotive touchup.com Matches OEM every time that I color matched things or the shop did. Even different batches, parts and completion times. Delivery is within one week for a flat fee. Sometimes they have a special with no delivery charge, but not all the time. Hope that helps you out a bit.

Took her in for an oil change and general check at my buddy's shop. All good, except for the negative camber on the driver front tire. She was pulling a bit to the right, so up on the rack she went. Now she drives straight down the road.

Detailed the paint today. Long, hot and sweaty Florida day, but it is done from roof to rocker panels and I think she looks pretty damn good.

Wash, clay bar (windows and paint), machine polish with 3M #3 Ultrafine Machine Polish, Surf City Garage Nano Seal and finished off with Surf City Garage Nano Glaze.

Here's a few pics.
