I figured you would pick up on that lol. Took them off to freshen up the black paint and got sidetracked with other projects.

Hope to have them done soon and back on. With the bumper color matched it has not bugged me too much.

Makes me kinda want the Denali bumper with it so flat.

Haha I want sure if I missed that part in the thread or something. so they are getting a glossy black treatment ? or just a refinish ?
But yea hard to tell with it colormatched, if it was chrome or white the holes and indents would stick out big time.
Denali bumper always looks the best imo.
I bet guys always ask you to get a roll pan huh? lol.

Glossy black again. The first go around didn't hold up too well. Not sure it is was subpar prep, UV or what, but it wasn't looking as good as wanted so I pulled them off thinking I could turn it around quickly.

Taking me a bit of extra time.

No roll pan for me. I like the bumper.

Around here IMO there aren't many modded NBS. Wheels and tires sure with a random part or bow tie blacked out or just brand new models with OEM issue gear.

I see a lot of jacked up Silverados though.

Always got my eye out though.

Yea I'm more of a bumper guy myself too. pans are clean looking for sure but if you get hit from behind thats a possibility of so much more damage. I had a roll pan on my first truck in high school and a month later I got rear ended. I swore them off after that. just my luck I'll get another and get hit again :emotions122:

Here ya go lol:happy107:

cleaner engine bay than I've ever had in my '07 that's for sure lol

Time to get on it son!! lol

I wipe down my engine bay every time I detail the truck. It's just one of those things that when or if you ever want to sell your vehicle, the potential buyer can look at that and think wow he went the extra mile to keep this thing clean.

Yessir. Once you do that first really deep clean and get in there with the toothbrush, then successive times are so much easier with the wipe downs. I'm pretty lucky that my truck only pounds the pavement and will likely never see a dirt road.

Escalade bumpers ain't bad either. I guess I'm lucky since I have a Denali and esky bumper. @Fosscore we were going to make a trip for this week but I got called by my union for another jobsite. I'd love to go but I don't think we're going to go maybe until next winter. Love spending some winter time in Florida. Maybe my wife will plan something for the spring and go there for a week.
