I searched for this a while last night as I figured it would be pretty common but I couldn't find anything about it. My fog lights vibrate all the time. I never really cared but now I am looking to put hids in the fogs and I would like to be able to solve this problem.
I have tightened everything down, it just seems like a poor design unless I am missing something. What are you guys doing to keep them from vibrating?

Don't know if this applies to the LS/LT/SLE/SLT valances...

...the Denali/Z71/LTZ fogs are mounted with two plastic "pop" type pins on the top brackets (similar to what is used to attach the fender well aprons) with a large plastic wingnut adjuster on the bottom. One of mine was vibrating and replacing those pins solved it.

Hope that helps!

It drives me nuts too, i have looked behind there and all my clips are there and everything appears to be there. My guess is they are mounted to plastic and thats just a bad design. IMO

I think it is simply a bad design. The way its mounted up there, it is only hooked on in a small spot and it is hooked to more week plastic. It is going to feel every bump and vibration on the road. When i swap mine out with HIDs I plan to get under there and see if there is a way to at least jerry rig it to where it is attached to more than one point
