Finished Blacking Out

Guess stupid question but when painting the flares since they are textured... do you have to get new ones (if they exist) or can you sand those down smooth? or....???
I've always wnated to do it to my z just never knew how.

Dont bother w/ the textured ones. not worth it.

Buy some used painted flares off any other color but black, ( gm left only black textured ) and just repaint them black. Thats what i did. Cheaper and less labor intensive trying to smooth out the textured.
