Well everything finally got done today aside from one huge issue. The JL 12" sub magnet is too big for the custom truck box that I got. FML. I was told a very specific shallow sub would work (Kicker CVT 12) so I have just ordered two of those and will be returning the JL's.
The screen is all done with all steering wheel controls working properly. My CCD Rear Cam kit that worked with the oem gm nav screen and gmx-550 lockpick actually works with the Pioneer screen so I'll be returning the Pioner ND-BC6 rear cam I just bought (which I'm happy about because the CCD rear cam is drilled into my tailgate handle whereas a Pioneer aftermarket cam is in the bulky square housing that has to be mounted and screwed down). The amp kit is ran with the JL amp going underneath my driver side second row bench seat and speaker wire ran to the box.
It's nice being able to use my phone for bluetooth audio WITH all the ID Tags showing up:

Thanks burb. Yea and turns out to return the JL subs, you don't get refunded the cost of shipping which was $20 and there is a 10% restocking fee.

I used to have 3 kicker Solo-baric L7 12's in a giant ported box in my old 01 Tahoe. The issue is this is JL's shallowest sub I could find that's a 12 and it doesn't fit the truck box. Which is understandable bc it's a really small area. So I had to go with these to make sure they would fit correctly. But yea JL to kicker is a bit of a downgrade but these kickers actually cost more the the JL's which is a little surprising.

Honestly I'd love to have 2 JL w7 10's. but it just won't fit in an avalanche. Plus the older you get the less bass you need lol. 2 12's is more then enough.

The only problem I have with kickers is just I feel like they don't hit the low notes

My Kicker L7 did but that's their top of the line sub.

I'd do Fosgate subs... Even their shallows hit.
