Factory alarm issue

Hello, I got a 03 Tahoe LT with power door locks and key fob , and with the factory alarm . Recently ,I've had a problem where this light stays illuminated under my steering column and my alarm doesn't arm . As still , I can smack my door or be inside my vehicle and still start the engine without the alarm going off . Any help appreciated !

Oh man sorry about that I recently bought it off one of my co workers and never mentioned what kind of alarm comes with the truck lmao
