Exterior door lock buttons stopped working

As the title says, all of a sudden the keyless entry on the doors no longer unlock or lock the doors. The lights simply flash. I feel like it could be a setting or software issue. Hoping to avoid the dealership - they suck.

Any help is appreciated.
