Can someone instruct me where this Exhaust Butterfly valve is located and how to "pin it open". I think mine is chirping. Thank you.

Took my '17 hoe to an exhaust specialist and had him weld it fully open.

Stupid mechanism to begin with and totally needless....

As you can see my valve was round, not square like all the other pics I’ve seen. This is what I came up with for now. The hose clamps were just ones I had sitting in the garage. Then I used just a piece of about 1” or 3/4” flat metal that was also hanging out in a random spot in the garage. And this is what happened for now, lol. I might pretty it up when I get a few mins, then again I may not...

I believe it is there to help eliminate some of the awful sound the truck makes once it goes into AFM mode. You will hear it more with it open. It's really bad with an aftermarket muffler.

is Eskamoe twisting the valve right or left then locking it with the hose clamps? If a 2018 ** was not running what is the position of the valve? thanks....
