Escalade tail lights

During the summer I did the escalade tail light conversion on my tahoe. Today a friend of mine told me that the passenger side brake light was not working. The reverse as well as the driving lights are working just the brake lights are not working on the passenger side does anyone have a clue of what might be the issue before I start opening up everything.

Same thing happened to me this summer. Found out the grey square piece" I think it's called the balist" was hanging and while driving was seperating from the light housing. I hope this helps.
