Has anyone attempted to swap in an Escalade steering column with the power adjust feature?

I would guess it could be done by just connecting power to the motor switch, but if your trim level is high enough it could "maybe" be a programmable add-on, like if you have power seats and the driver 1 & 2 memory function because on my Denali the power tilt works with the memory setting also.

Someday I will do this to mine, not for the power tilt, but for the steering wheel lock that was deleted, they have it and it was improved in 2010 or 2011.

I thought about trying it on my 08 but I have a feeling it needs the memory seat control module to work. I never researched to see if it is commanded from the memory seat control module or if it could just be wired to power and work without the memory function.

Do most Tahoes/Yukons not come with this option? What do they have, a manual pull lever?

The tilt motor would work with just power if that was your only goal the motor isn't digital, it's a motor and a 3 position switch

The Denali has it also but I don't think a Tahoe LTZ has it.

I know the 2 Denalis I've owned had it and I just thought it was that way (standard) on all gmt900s.

What about the adjustable pedals? I see that button under the HVAC controls on a lot of peoples dashes.

Just checked, the seat memory does control the motor in the pedals and steering adjustment in our 09 Esky.
