Hey all just wanted to introduce myself since I've been crawling for a while.

Purchased a 1994 full size Blazer with the 350 in it about 5 months ago after totaling my Mustang. When I bought it, it had 285/75/16x10 tires/wheels on it and I was getting about 10mpg and road and handled terribly! Found the keys were cranked all the way up which made the uppe control arms hit/ride on the bump stops. Dropped them to normal ride height only to find the tires rubbed on everything in the wheel well and bumper. Traded and sold rims and tires to purchase a set of 265/75/16 Yokohama Geolander AT-S on stock rims. (Spare set of 15" rims to be determined what to do with)
It ran like crap so I started to dive into the mechanical side of stuff. Installed new EGR valve, PCV valve, wires, spark plugs, distributor cap and button, knock sensor thermostat, radiator cap. Still has a spark knock but I'll work that out soon I hope. I started to get good gas mileage after all this.
Jumped into the electrical issues next (for Gods sake please do shit the right way and don't half ass here!) trailer brake had been cut out and left to short out, so many splices and scotch locks to drive any sane person crazy!! Corroded wires for the mirrors. If you knew me I HATE wiring with a passion.

For all the problems with this vehicle, it's the best handling vehicle in the snow I've ever owned! Also engine has been easy to work on. I work at an airport and when it snows I HAVE to get to work to plow snow there. I had semi-bald tires and 5" of snow and still made it to work in 2wd which is awesome. I own a Jeep and drive/plow with fords and Volvo dump trucks at work but the Blazer has such good balance I'd take it over any of the others.

Well that's about it for the intro of myself. If you read this far thanks if not I understand lol.

Faithful Chevy owner,

Cody
