Engine swap coming, need some advice

Hey everyone,

2004 Tahoe LT AWD 5.3L

Just wanted to get some input from people who have pulled a 5.3 out of a Tahoe. I've done swaps before but not on a Tahoe (or shared platform) and wanted to know if there is anything to watch out for specifically or any best practices to save time.

The hood has a service mode. U just move two bolts and it will stand vertical. Pull the intake first and it will be a lot easier. I also recommend putting something in front of the condenser so u don't puncture it. I used a piece of plywood cut to fit from the frame to the core support.
