I have a brand new set of the black emblems from GM. Mine already came with the black logos but I bought a new set when I was going to put on the black grill not knowing I didn't need to. If anyone wants I'll sell them cheaper than you can buy them from the site

Easiest, fastest (not including shipping time!) , but not the cheapest is to buy a set off eBay.

Some what easy, some what fast, and definitely the cheapest is to buy some plastdip and spray them.

I've seen on EBAY that the hot item is the self adhesive vinyl.

If you want original look, but black instead of gold, original GM - plenty on EBAY. About $100 (ridiculous), but look clean. Easily done.

I heard the vinyl shrinks after sun exposure. I broke down and spent the 90 bucks for the GM parts. Installed in less than ten minutes.

I went OEM and got Illuminated black front and black rear. Expensive but will last forever.

I just wrapped these emblems on a Colorado. Changed the chrome to black and the gold to white.

I completely took them off the truck to do them right.. I use 3M 1080 vinyl and never have issues with them peeling, cracking, fading, or "shrinking from the sunlight". Oh, did the tail lights too, minus the reverse portion of the lens.

Thanks! Wow! That is expensive. I would buy a black RST grill for that price. The front-only version is cheaper, but they don't show black. They only show gold: https://accessories.chevrolet.com/p...nt-illuminated-bowtie-emblem-in-gold-84138216

I wanted to get an RST grill too. But the trim above the headlight would have need to get painted or wrap and that sounds like to much to mess with.
I will post a review with pics of the emblem but what I do like about it is how subtle it is in term of light output

Easy, fun.
