So I tell everyone I was getting a Denali. I didn't.

Then I ask everyone to vote to choose me a color. I disobeyed.

I thought I would only buy from a private party.I bought from a dealer.

Yes,but would you believe anything I say?

I bought it from a small scale dealer about 100 miles away from me,who got it from a nearby Chevy Dealer who took it as a trade-in from the original owner,Autocheck confirmed that before I went to see it.

Its an SLT with 148K,but it has about the cleanest interior I saw in the NBSs that I looked at,Leather in great shape.You could eat off the engine compartment.I put on some clothes and crawled underneath,it was clean,no leaks,no rust,just the cleanest I had seen.

Body is mint except for a dent behind the driver side rear tire.The guy gave me the keys and I took off for about 20 minutes.Hopped on it ******* local,hilly winding roads and tranny seemed real good and motor ran strong.I pulled it into a parking lot,checked it again for leaks,everything good.

The original wheels did not have a nick or scrape on them.Must have been an older adult driver who took it real easy.Funny thing is,truck looked like it had not been washed in over a month.I think the original owner who traded it in did all the cleaning before he turned it in to the dealer.I don't think anyone washed it after that point.

5.3 engine,SLT,4.11 gears.No towing package,have to put a hitch on it.

MrJuan, I would suggest a K&N cold air intake or similar.
Cheep instant bolt on performance. $250 delivered 1 hr install.

Nono , first mods.
Denali headlights and some HID's, LED tails with LED turns and Clear corners.
Then a Specter CAI with a filter sock, K&N a waste of money.
Then a MBRP exhaust.
Then Electric fans and Big 3 mod.
Finnaly a BB Tune.
Might aswellset aside some cash for bled door acuators..

Not sure,but I may have to run 26s to improve my mileage.

4.10's and no towing package, kind of a strange combo. I think i might end up going to 4.10's just to make towing a bit easier I doubt I will lose any MPG. not a big change from 3.73 to 4.10.

26s, maybe it's the tire height that will effect ratio. Not really noticeable till you have 34"++.

I recently bought an 05 Tahoe LS (with every LT option except a sunroof and passenger power seat), and it has the GT5 (4.10) option. It is 4x4 with the LM7. I absolutely LOVE driving with the 4.10 gears, except if you are going 30mph and need to accelerate quickly, it won't give you 1st gear and lugs for a few seconds at the bottom of 2nd gear. I think a cam swap should fix that, or a LQ9 swap
