Dual throttle body intake??

So I was going through offer up looking for parts and ran across this ad, has anyone ever heard of a dual throttle body intake? This one has one... Hoax??

Never seen that before.

I can imagine it needing that much air. It's not modded that much.

Not sure why that was necessary unless it has a massive cam and/or is built to spin some ridiculous RPM. I'd like to hear his reasoning, though.

I messaged him and he said him and his boss made a handful of them I asked how it worked as far a wiring and such but he hasn't answered

Yea if he could make one cheap enough it would be worth the extra 20 or so horsepower and I'm sure it could be tweaked for even bigger gains

Cool idea and I can appreciate the ingenuity. But I don't think it's worth the effort on an otherwise stock engine. I'm not doubting the power increases, but where in the RPM range? If the intake air goes through one tube with the MAF sensor then splits into two tubes to feed each TB, then it's NOT getting 100% more air. It IS getting a more balanced air charge at the least. I believe it would benefit from two individual intake tubes with two separate MAFs and tuned accordingly or no MAFs and converted to a speed density tune. Of course, then placed onto a big-cube or high-winding engine.
