Ya that's why I wasn't to go fancy and just wire up the accessories full time off the second batt, not from the IGN.

I ended up buying the Surepower 200A relay from www.allbatterysalesandservice.com. When it arrives I'll get a pic and post it.

Dang, that's a fancy gadget. It does everything.

you don't hook the trip wire for the relay the acc you will hook it

up to the wire that gets power only in the run position and thats

the only time it will trigger the relay

I received the battery separator last week while I was out of town. Next on my list is to find a stock switch to mount in the dash near the rear hatch button. Off to the junk yard.

Just finished mounting the separator under the hood. I mounted it upside down so that the polarity of the separator is consistent with how the wires are to be routed.
