I'm driving an 07 Tahoe with the stock 20's. I want to drop it 2/3. I have found DJM springs for the front and back. Will I need anything other than the springs to get lowered like I want?

Also what kind of installation price am I looking at?

1. Tony should respond here. He's the man when it comes to this. Just buy your kit from him.

2. I'd recommend the Belltech kit. I have the rear only kit. Comes with shock extenders and shorter bump-stops.

3. I don't think there are "springs" to change up front. I think it'll be recommended that you go with an A-arm kit, or a spindle kit, fyi.

Do the 2" front drop struts by Belltech and 3/4" drop by Belltech for the rear....also buy some new rear Belltech shocks while your at it. This is what I did on my 07 and drives fantastic. (Bought it from Tony as well)

ok. Thanks. How much does Tony charge for kits like that?

DJM say they make Front Lowering Springs for my truck at 159/pair
and rear lowering springs for 169/pair.

few questions

1) do you have a autoride truck?
2) how many miles are on the truck

Im very good friends with mike at DJM and if you want to do springs front/rear you can do that but the thing is the stock struts ARE NOT meant to lower on.

Honestly I would do this kit and your set with new front struts and rears a adjustable 3-4 inch spring with shock extenders

Would you want to go lower at all?? i have my 3/5.5 kit that rides great.

I'm not sure about the autoride.
I have about 75k on it now. I commute about 100 miles a day round trip to school and back.

I must have have Autoride, because mine is the LT3 package.
Thanks for the advice.
Any other suggestions for my ride? I sadly have to avoid bigger rims/tires because of my commute the gas mileage would kill me more than it already is!
How much does installation of that kit cost?

I'm liking the debadged on the color truck we have. Ive been thinking about it, or I have been considering painting the badges black and sticking them back on. But I can foresee a lot of issues down the road with that (falling off, paint peeling)

He's right. He may have autoride. I'm 100% positive, but did they start w/ LTZ w/ the NBS? or after. LT3 would be considered the Top of the Line package

I'm really liking the lights Brad!! What did you do? Is that VHT nightshades????

My bad, I meant to write I must NOT have autoride. I'm writing an appellate brief for school so I'm kind of busy.

Thanks for the compliment on the lights. I live in Hammond and there is this place called The Tint Shop. They do great work! Everything they do comes with a lifetime guarantee! My taillights are tinted over with some kind of plastic that they heated up with a blow torch to form it over the lights. The front is just a tint. I replaced the stock bulbs with HIDs so I can still see at night.

I would call him first. His name is Barry and he will set you up a time. I don't remember the price exactly, but it wasn't bad. Plus if it ever bubbles, which mind did once, you can go back and he will fix it for free. Just tell him that I sent you. He is a real good guy.

I had a dark green Z71 nbs and I painted my rims and all badges flat black. Looked clean as shit. The paint never peeled and they never fell off. I did it right though. Multiple layers of paint/clear coat! :Handshake:

Who is right? Are you saying they have LT's with AutoRide? I'm pretty much 100% sure they only have them on Yukon Denali's (not even the sierra denali), escalades, and Tahoe LTZ (only)...

Felix, how did you restick the letters back on? Did you use a 3m adhesive strip? I'm confident in my painting because I painted my bowties, but it's the resticking I'm concerned about.
Thanks

Yes, 3M adhesive and just make sure you get the higher grade. You'll just have to trim the adhesive to fit the shape of each letter.
