It finally happened again, and I checked all vents.... Once in a while the driver's dash vents go total hot, but every other locations are nice and cold, passenger side cold.

I shut off the engine, then after restarting, it "fixes itself"... ( Thank gosh!! )

Where exactly is that actuator?? I will have to dig into it to replace it... sometime.

Or is it more than just replacing the actuator?

Just the actuator. It’s on the left side of passengers foot well on the bottom of the evaporator case.

Cool.... ( so to speak)..... I'm afraid to ask..... Is the center console blocking it? I hope not... ( Hard to see with that nice cover around the airbox)

No it’s not blocking it

Made my day..... I'll tackle it next Saturday.

...... Today I bought a Dorman #604-106. $138.00. ( I did not understand the "$20 versions" )...... Also picked up a 'palm ratchet' for that one screw on bottom cover that's hard to reach. I also searched the simple 'learn procedure' . We'll see.....

THANK YOU M1Gunner FOR THE COACHING!!!
