2004 yukon here- had a/c issues, cold air blowing out passenger side, hot air out driver side.
read how to reset the HVAC fuse, did that. read how to check/replace the actuator, did that. no effect at all...

any other tips on how to fix this?

when they both go out sometimes, only getting cool air shooting out the defrost vents, nothing out the dash vents.

Is your HVAC control AUTO (with digital degrees) or manual with a slider for each side?

This will be easier to troubleshoot with a capable bi-directional scanner.

You need to replace the actuators. The one for the driver side is up and to the left of where passengers feet go. The mode actuator is more fun(!) and up and to the right of where the drivers feet go. Make sure you get that big plastic cam thing lined up right.
