ok so here is the issue ....2002 Tahoe, have the 03 bezel and cage, have a JVC AVX706 double , i have basically have everything setup and done fab wise for the install HOWEVER im running into major issues with the wiring big time !!
So i had it all hooked up other than the EBRAKE cable and a friend of mine has a DD he also installed in his vehicle and he told me just to try and ground it out first, i did that and all was good ...so iwent to hook up the AMP and when the power on the amp came on the sound went completely off, no sound at all but there was video . I took the DD to a stereo shop to have them test it to make sure i didnt blow a channel in the deck, all checked out fine . With the factory radio installed everything worked properly(amp unhooked of course and all speakers worked fine).
I went and bought another wiring harness thinking that i may have had a bad connection within that harness. Now i either get no video and only sound OR video and NO sound . They both worked right away after installing the new harness but when i shut the power off and back on ...BOOM no sound and only video , i ground the EBRAKE wire and only get sound but no video . Have been messing with this for about 4days now and am at my last straw with this thing
ANY help would be great that anyone can lend ..also i can do the fab work easy but the wiring is the ***** and i dont know if a shop would wire it for me since i didnt buy it from them ....thanks in advance guys
