I have an 07 LT with Bose but without Nav.
I'm trying to find a decent double-DIN head unit with Bluetooth, iphone capability, and the USB port in the back.
According to Crutchfield, Pioneer's newer model (AVH-X3500BHS) won't fit into my tahoe. Their older model (AVH-P3400BH), with front USB connection, will fit.
Does anyone know why this newer model won't fit? The owner's manuals say that the models listed have identical dimensions and are both 6.5 inches deep. Crutchfield says that I have a little over 8 inches to work with.

Or does anyone have any recommendations for a $300-400 double-DIN?

Thanks

Check ebay or amazon, im sure you could find something in that price range. Doesnt pioneer make a 4300 or 4400avh? I always see them on here. I have a kenwood dnx 9980hd and love it. The garmin nav is great. I was always told on here that pioneer has a better user interface tho.

try the pioneer 4400...thats what Im running. I had it in my CHrysler 300 and brought it over to my tahoe when I bought it. If you get it make sure you buy the brake relay so you watch dvds on the go. I have no complaints about that headunit. Or you can go up to the 8400. both are nice and have what your looking for...IMO.

I'm thinking about the Kenwood DDX719, Axxess GMOS-100, and Crutchfield's included dash kit.
Any thoughts on that combination? I've heard rumors of noise with the GMOS kits but I'm not sure exactly what my other options are.
Is this a relatively straightforward install? I've done a single DIN install before on a friends 3-series BMW, I just don't want to get in too far over my head.
Thanks

I had the ddx719 before my 9980. I liked it, but i needed an iphone for the nav, plus you have pay $50 for the app for your phone. I had all pac stuff so i couldnt tell you about noise.

I paid $500 for the head unit at crutchfield.com and the gmos-100 kit was half off. Ended up being $90 cheaper than at my local car stereo shop.

Does anyone know anything about these Audiovox headrest monitors?

My left side monitor won't power on but I can't even find a model number to look for a wiring diagram. Also, I bought an adapter to fit the weird 9pin mini DIN cable labeled AV IN and am getting nothing when I cycle through inputs on my working monitor. Any ideas?

Got the harness soldered and installed last night but am having trouble with steering wheel controls. The program to update firmware is jacked up, so I have to wait for axxess to fix that before I finish my install.
