Hey everyone,
I'm looking at upgrading to **fully threaded and extended wheel studs** for my **2010 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4WD**, and the **Dorman 610-530** caught my attention. I’ve checked the specs (M14-1.50 thread size, 15.90mm knurl diameter, 78mm length), and they seem like they could work, but I haven’t found any confirmations of fitment for my specific model.

Has anyone here installed the 610-530 on their Tahoe or Yukon? Did you run into any issues with the **knurl fitment or overall length clearance**? Any feedback would be appreciated before I purchase. THANKS!

Before you do anything you should know the knurl size of the OE studs. The knurl size on the OE is slightly smaller at 0.623" or 15.8242mm. If you put a bigger knurl in that hole it could cause a crack. Seen it happen before. But, the sizing, in mm, may be minimal enough that it would not crack.

Next, the stud you are talking about is for a rear only wheel application of numerous Ford truck years that are dually's. The dually/Dorman stud is also about 1/2" longer from shoulder to end.

So, knowing all that.....WHY!

@FastGas changed his front wheel studs out for a BBK on his 08 Esky EXT. I’ll likely have to do the same. I found that ARP has longer studs too.
