Nice dogs everyone! Gotta get a pic of mine up one of these days. Hes a Chesapeake and pit mix. Got in a small argument with the fam over Christmas when I said my next dog would be a pit. They said the facts show they are breed to be aggressive. I told them to get their facts straight before they open their mouths. I hat ignorant people. raise a kid bad hes gonna be bad raise a dog bad hes gonna be bad. alright, im done ranting! Keep the pics coming guys!

Here's my American Bulldog, Dana. She is now about 5 yrs old and just had her treated with the heartworm injections and now on a scheduled dosing of heartworm preventative!!! She's my other baby, lol.

I keep her inside now and off the chain as I work offshore and she won't let anyone in the house. Plus my 2yr old boy loves her to death and he chases her around the house on his little battery powered 4-wheeler then 2 mins later she's chasing him through the house, it's freakin' hilarious, lol.

I was lucky enough to own the two dogs(at the same time) I always wanted, A English Bulldog named Xena and a Rotty named Sturmgewehr, Sturm for short. I don't know what it is with Rotty's and TP but would come home to a freshly shredded roll.
I miss them both.
But here is my latest friend, His name is Thor, He's a French Mastiff and the pic was taken at 11 months and 110lbs. He just turned 2 Christmas Eve.

Here's my little girl when she first showed up at work...

She's getting close to a year now and is obviously bigger but I don't have any recent pics on this computer. She's believed to be black lab and chow. She's a hyper little thing and chews like no other dog I've ever had but everyone keeps telling us that's just the lab in her and she'll stop when she hits 2. Here's to hoping!

Yes it is been a long day. He got to where he could not walk and when he would try he would just fall down. So we took him in the morning and had him put to sleep and came back home a buried him.

Yea man it is tough. I keep thinking that he is just outside or something. It's going to be weird not having a dog I have had one my whole life except for about 1-2 years after the other one diemeaNs. Could be a pain but I am still going to miss him but he is better off past few days he had been going down hill fast it would have only been a matter of time before he could not do anything on his own.

992door, very sorry to hear. I have had yellow's all my life and know what its like to loose one. But you did the right thing. And NOTHING makes you feel better than a new puppy from my experience.
