some factors IMO that count in you deserving it:

buying it yourself/paying lease yourself
not driving like a pissed off 16 year old girl
paying for all your modifications
basically covering all the costs of your hoe

feel free to add..

this has been a topic in my head for quite a while, just want some opinions.

i believe i deserve my hoe, i bought it, fix her myself, add to her myself. etc.

i think i deserve my hoe. i bought it for 3 G's on my own. i dont drive like a 16 year old girl, and i have payed for about 60% of my mods. the other 40% would be sponsored parts, everything else i have payed for.

I deserve mine too. So far, everything that's gone into it I've paid for and/or done myself. I paid $18,500 for it back in 2000 with 33k miles on it (I'm pretty sure it was 33k, if I'm wrong it's not much more), and I've taken good care of it since - 87k miles on it now.

Hell Yes. I paid for all my cars, Even my first car, my mom just co-signed and gave me a little money for a down payment. I've done all my installs, (the little I've done so far).

Ill be honest, the tahoe was given to me to drive. Im kinda still under my dads rules. I don't pay for insurance of repairs. I do pay for gas, things that i break, and mods though. I have tried to buy my own truck but my parents wont let me, they hold about 90% of my money. The only money i was allowed to spend was the money i got working which i was still given a hard time about. So i guess in the long run i kinda deserve it. Yeah i go offroading in it and break stuff every so often but at the end of every week it gets a full detail to look like new again.

I bought my 03 in 05 at a cost of 22k, too much imo but hey I wanted one and it was 52k new. Oh and did I mention it's the only thing I got to keep from my divorce and it's paid for. I do 90% of mods and such myself with a little help from the old man :)

I'm guessing by your standards I don't deserve my truck. Paid for by my parents along with the ins.

My dad bought mine then I paid him back like you would the bank. I think I ended up paying half or 3/4 of it. It is paid off now though. Bought it at just over $14,000. If I would have waited a year I could have gotten at almost half of that. All repairs and mods I do myself. I am still on my parents insurance, its cheaper that way

I bought my 2004 Burb on credit Feb 2009 for $14500. You might say to much for a 5 yr old truck but it was a excellent price for up here. Only one I found under $18000 and was mint with the exception of a couple of scratches. When oil went real high people were dumping them like crazy. Thats when I made my move. Now a 5 year old one goes for almost $20000. I ended up paying it off by Sept 2009. Do I derserve it. Im not one to say. Do I need it. Hell yeah we tow a 5000 lb trailer with it. As for mods. all I have done so far is new trailer hitch as i dint trust the round tube pos that was on it, brake controler, in channel vent shades, and cb radio for long trips. It's mine payed for and I clean it religiouly. Inside and out. Oh also the engine compartment is spotless. Well not right now its covered in salt gotta love winter. In the spring though I will clean it out. Do I drive like a 16 year old. hmmmmmmmmm sometimes but not stupid like a 16 year old. Time and place for everything. I know what my truck is capable of and when i need it I know what it can do. Do I race it not a chance thats stupid. I plan on doing many more mods to it but time and money is in my way. Mortgage on house food on the table is more important. I have about $5000 for mods at the moment. Im just waiting for the right time and price for the things I want. It will get there sooner or later. One thing I am really thinking of is a imobilizer. it is something you keep on you not your key chain. If your car get stolen or car jacked it kills the power. Low jack might be a route i might go also. Anyway it's not for me to say if I deserve it and i've wasted another 5 mins of your life you wont get back. lol cheers
