Do different drive modes disable cylinder deactivation?

Since it seems we are still unable to do this on the 21s does anyone know if perhaps keeping it in sport would prevent this?

No it will not deactivate DFM. It will make it less likely to drop cylinders for mpg but it will not completely prevent it.
