just wondering if there is a kit..or if anyone has fabbed up a way to drop the front differential a couple inches. I have an 04 tahoe with f150 keys up front and bars are cranked almost to max. (still doesnt sit that high) i have the stock 265/70r17s with 2inch wheel spacers for a wider stance. anyway it seems as though i have wore out the front axle seals from the angle of my cv axles. just wondering if they make a kit to drop the front axle a couple inches in order to level the cv angles out. or if it would be possible to fab a drop kit and move just the front diff down.
I don't have the money for a true lift kit just want to save my cv's from excess wear and stop my diff from breaking under the stress. I would like to get a 9.25 axle under it but not sure if one would bolt up or not. i know the axle shafts are different, but done know if the mount tabs are the same distances.
future plans for lifting would probably be just a body lift if anything to clear a 33" tire.
thanks for any advice
