Denali XL Performance

Howdy,

I'm new to the forum and thought I'd start asking some questions. I just bought my wife an '08 Denali XL with the 6.2L engine. I'm interested in boosting the performance and mileage (if possible?!). I'm not looking for a quarter mile screamer, just some more pep around town and the freeway. I'm curious what mod's y'all have done and the results you've gotten. I also don't wanna spend a fortune on parts for a truck I'll only drive on long road trips. Feel free to offer suggestions on intakes, exhaust, and programmers. Let the debates begin.....

i would first start off with a intake/tune/crank pulley.

The stock cat back flows fine dont waste your money there if you want to make it louder just replace the main muffler with a magnaflow and keep that resonator. once that resonator is gone it drones.


for tune i would talk to alvin at pcmforless.com and i think the tune with a intake and crank pulley will be around 800-1000 bucks and you will be very happy with the results
