For my controls I just took out all the electronics and faceplate, left the housing in because I'm going to retrofit a little 7" screen there. Just run the input from my dash TV. As far as the heater buttons, I was thinking about having them control some little reading lights for the kids.

Im going to keep the heated seat switch in there i had an idea like urs i wanted to put a flip up in the back but i cant find a stand alone flip up monitor and dont wanna spend alot lol

That what im lookin for that would look sweet in the nali console also i installed a sound stream 9.3 i was thinking aboit that but dont spend the 2 or 3 hundred for it and scared some one mite bump it or crack the screen

I'd say that's all your preferance. Unless your going to try hooking it up, its just dead weight. Mine was gutted and I may put and amp in that space (maybe) and I removed the disc changer and fabbed a little cubby box - see my build post.

I cracked it open and took out the speaker was just gonna bolt the box back i so i could bolt the cup holder back down

Need ideas how to change the color of the wood grain trim piece i was thinking about vinyl wrapping it cuz i tried to paint it the same color as my hoe and that was a fail paint flaked off thanks

Lay up some carbon fabric and clear it.

Could go easy and hyrdo dip it. Liquidconcepts.com

Could plastidip it

Hydrodip is cool. My buddy has a whole setup so when I'm ready he's gonna do all my stuff. Check that site and youtube

I redid mine with carbon fiber but if you paint it make sure to clear it real good and that should keep it from peeling up.

Finally got it installed let me know what u guys think i ended up plasti dipping it and then clear came out pretty good
