Well, just like the title says, I took the plunge and ripped all of the badging and trim off my 2001 Tahoe today. I was a bit nervous about paint fade and what have you, it being an older model and all. however, after giving it a little spray off, I'm stoked about the results. I used an AE Industries Pin-Stripe eraser. Basically a big pencil eraser on a wheel that you chuck up in your drill. I used it on the advice of my heavy machinery/semi mechanic brother. However, the guy at the paint/body shop assured me it wouldn't work, and even gave me 'the look' when I bought it anyway. My brother was right. Took me about an hour from start to finish, and it looks awesome. I'm gonna post pictures but be gentle! I haven't done a lot to it, so it's nothing special to look at. But, you gotta start somewhere. Right?

Thanks! I'm preheating the oven right now to remove the amber filter from my corner lights, and then I'm headed to the hardware store to pick up a 1/4 inch nut so that I can hide that antenna.

Very nice. Why do you have PPV decals on either side of your hood?
