Hi guys
I own a 2011 LTZ.I need to remove The plastic panel that lies between the dashboard speaker and front window. It includes the front defroster vent and the solar sensor and runs across the whole width of the windshield. I need to remove it in order to glue it back together it has cracked in several pieces. It has popped off in several areas but I don’t know how to remove it completely and don’t wanna crack it any further. Any tips on how to remove it? Thank you in advance.
Any repair tips would be greatly appreciate it also

You can get a new one from Dorman for about $80. It’s called an Upper Dash.

The old broken one is likely to come apart even more as you attempt to remove it.

Thanks. I’ll do that. But how do I remove and install. Is it only clips? Do I have to remove A pillar covers ?

Yes, remove A pillars from both sides. Driver side has 1 bolt under a cover and passenger side has 2, one on each leg of the handle under a cover.

as noted pull the pillar covers and then it just unclips, you will need to untwist the sunsensor out in the center (the little plastic bubble)
