Custom resonator delete

Alright guys, i'm pretty new here, but not too new to these trucks. I just picked up a 2007 Denali XL last month and my 2001 Tahoe is on its way out.
I've already done a couple things to it, fixed the power running boards (huge pita) and tint but it's impossible to look around on this site and stop there.

I'm looking to get a couple mandrel bends off summit racing and weld up my own resonator delete with a 4.5" tip.

Question: do i want 16-gauge or 18-gauge 3.5" piping to match up with the stock piping?

Alright, so i was looking at my options today and it sounds like this is harder than expected since it uses 3.5" piping. Might just end up taking it to an exhaust shop and let them deal with it.

I like that idea, and the price is great. Just one question, they say it works with suburban, avalanche, yukon xl... etc. Does it only work with trucks that have the 5.3 (smaller diameter pipe) or will it work with the 3.5" pipe on the 6.2 as well?

just saw that part that you have the 6.2. I do not think that it works with the 6.2 as it has a larger diameter exhaust.

Don't think anyone makes a kit like that SLP for the 6.2, best bet would be going to a local shop and having them weld a pipe in with a tip.
