It's actually just an onstar antenna (really small) I had bought for my previous onstar antenna setup before I switched it out to a new style shark fin. But the more I think about it, I think I will just do that hidden antenna mod and tuck it down below the hood.
I am running a CAI, K&N I bought a long time ago when I picked up a ram air hood. When the engine swap arrives I may upgrade.

Started working on the Headlights, and retrofitting the Acura TSX projectors to replace the stock Denali projectors. I started with one headlight assy and took my sweet ass time so I wouldn't damage anything. I put her in the oven at 250 for a few mins. taking it out every few mins and testing to see if the projector sealant was soft enough to pull it free. After pulling the stock projector free and the headlight cooled a bit I trimmed the first little bit to get the TSX projector flange to sit flush with the plastic bracket to then figure out how deep I need to go. Tomorrow I will be figure out how deep and how I will mount it. I will most likely use a plate of aluminum cut to fit perfectly and drilled and taped for machine screws.

Iphone 4 pics…I’m impressed….

Good idea!

By the looks of the pics, can you take the nali projector lense off and then the rsx lenese, and then attach the rsx lense to the nali lense? that waay you wouldnt have to try and retro fit the the projector bracket?? Just an idea!! I dont know!!!

cant wait to see what that looks like in there!

I considered doing this, but it's not just the lense that I am after, it's also the bowl and the beam cut off that will also make a big difference. If you take a close look at the stock Denali projector you'll see it is not completely enclosed, and wouldn't produce as good of a beam as the TSX housing. Also the denali projector is made of plastic and not designed for HIDs (even though plenty of guys use them without a problem) where as the TSX projector is made of cast aluminum and designed for HID bulbs.

Thanks for the offer. :Handshake: I will be poping the outer clear plastic off and removing the orange reflector, behind that the housing is already chrome. Then I will seal it back up and tint the whole thing. Then using the the headlight's tint as a guide I will be tinting the already semi dark lower LED corner lights to match the headlights. If you could tint the headlights and corner on one of my latest exterior shots of the truck that would be bad ass. I would really love to see how the vision in my head will look. And if you think you can eliminate the reflector and tint the housing that would be awesome too. Thanks man, Tell Rob we still have to go to range and you should come too.

This thread needs to be called "Copper&Black's Complete Custom Build Thread"

Yeah man! The title no longer suits the thread, I wonder if it can be changed....... :)
