Hi guys.
Today I am replacing the oil cooler lines on my 2016 Yukon 6.2 L.

I have had a very slow coolant leak, maybe half inch to an inch drop in reservoir level between oil change intervals. I found evidence of coolant on this transmission cooler line in the picture, but no evidence of it leaking anywhere else. Wouldn't there only be transmission fluid inside this line ?

Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks

Were you able to nail down the leak?
It's possible it's migrating from the radiator area onto those trans lines.

Buy a bottle of K Seal and put it in. If it's that slow of a leak, and there isn't visible tracks to the source, it could be something that only leaks either under heat/pressure, or cold and overnight. Either way, a sealant will buy time and should help with a nuisance leak until something larger warrants replacement of components.

I've used this a handful of times now with really good success on everything from a Buick Lucerne 3.8L to a small 3 cylinder diesel block heater buried behind an injection pump. Normally I want to fix the problem, but there are instances when the time to money ratio doesn't warrant anything more than a cheap attempt at first to see how it goes.
