I installed a K&N cold air kit today and once I was done I started up the car and the coolant gauge was not working anymore . Any ideas, Is this just a fluke or did I do something .The gauge works when the key goes on acc but once the truck is started it drops to zero. Any help would be great. Thanks

I wonder where the temp sensor is in relation to the filter stuff. Maybe you pulled the wire out.

I thought of that but the gauge works in the acc postion so if the wire was lose it should not work in that postion but once the car is started it drops to zero
