I am trying to decide whether to continue my XM Radio subscription after the free trial ends. So give me your opinions, is it worth the cost or do I just fill the console up with CD's and rock out?

I was thinking keeping it for traveling also, not having to search for stations every half hour or do for an 11 hour drive. My XL doesn't have an aux input for the iPhone and guess I'll need to put my music in C/D's. It is hard to justify the cost.

I dont drive enough to justify the cost......I installed an integrated ipod adaptor to my factory HU and just listen to the multitude of songs I have on my ipod.

I have XM in both my vehicles and use it daily... it's actually pretty awesome. They WILL work on you with price. I think I paid $30-40 for 6 months... you just have to call and say you want to cancel and they will give you a better offer/price just do you will stay.

X2 for the Pandora. Sirius XM's CEO should be locked up and the key should be thrown away. They are a bunch of thieves. I called once about a mix and match package, the guy told me $11 for 4 months....now that's a deal. So I asked the moron several times if this was a standard rate and not an introductory rate. He assured me it was standard. So I gave them my credit card info to find that 4 months from then the rate tripled. I had to do a charge back on my credit card and file a complaint with the BBB. They are crooks...definitely do not renew. And there customer service is terrible.

I'd also say XM isn't worth it for the price. I got 2 iPods, my iPhone with pandora/YouTube and a 20gig USB thumb drive in the glove box with more music than I can remember.

I still find myself flipping through the stations as they play the same things over and over again just like regular radio

I use spotiy premium. Any songs I want, any playlist I want to make, doesn't bog down my phone with mp3s. I enjoy it.

iPod with whatever music you want is the best way to go. Plus, if you have the right radio, you can go through the artist/album list with the radio remote.

So, what is the best way to connect my iPhone to the radio as there is no aux input. I think I remember a thread on here about adding a 3.5 mm aux jack to the radio, I will have to find it.

Did you try to talk to them? Their CS was nice to me. They auto-renewed mine and I called to cancel and they refunded the whole payment they charged and gave me the 6 month deal.
