I use Pandora and Iheart at my house. In the car it cuts out and skips all the time. I use my Ipod and Sirius in the car. I don't even have an FM antenna on my truck. As for the $... They will work with you if you call up and say you will cancel. The talk shows on Stars Too 104 is worth price.

I stream pandora through my avic-940bt via bluetooth. Works like a charm!

Jumping in late into this thread but FWIW--I'd guestimate that roughly 99% of the songs that are played on XM/Sirius that I'd care to listen to, I already have in my MP3 music collection; I don't care much for talk radio or other non-music formats available on radio so they're non-factors for me.
