OP did you ever solve this? I believe z71 trims came with Rancho struts up front, but I'm a newbie to the forum so I'm still learning...

I decided to go with the SR4079 KYB complete struts. There is NO prebuilt unit that is specific to Z71, but KYB cust serv insisted that this would perform correctly. If I wanted to build my own, I would have gone with the Bilstein 4600s, but I believe these will do the job (when I get around to installing them.)

Thanks for the info! I've been looking at replacing my stock front struts with the Rancho quicklifts, but I haven't been able to confirm how much they would lift the front since it seems like the z71s were already sitting higher than other trims when stock. I'll report back if/when I find more info.

That was my concern, that the Z71 spring was taller. Guess I'll find out when I get these on. If it sits lower, KYB will have some 'splainin' to do.

I just put z71 rear springs in maybe like .5 inch higher. And that's a strong maybe

Update, I installed the KYB SR4079s and all was perfect, no change in ride height, works great.
How are they holding up im switching out these garbage rough country's next week and between the srm4079 and standard sr4079 but wondering if the drastic price difference is worth it.

I went with the standard SR4079s and they feel just like OEM. I would choose the SRM4079s only if I was doing hard-core offroading. But in that case, a Tahoe would not really be my first choice of vehicles, either.

I'll just order the sr4079s and a 1.5 spacer. These n2 rough country's have only been on here for a year and are already done. I can't get the bilstein 5100 because I don't have the stock spring perches. Oh well

You should sell me your stock springs and perches actually. How much would you sell then for ?
