I have a 2007 GMC Yukon XL w/ 6W/7RW suspension, perform routine trailer towing, overdo for a strut/shock update. I'm not interested in the cheap Quickstuts or off brand Chinese-made; replacing individual struts, such as Bilstein or KYB requiring a spring compressor to install; or pricier KYB Monomax or Rancho 9000X Strut/Spring Assy. I'm looking for a middle of the road price solution. Monroe has Magnum Strut/Coil Assy for Silverado's, p/n 153027. Many other Suppliers list same p/n strut/spring assy for Silverado/Sierra and Surburban /Yukon, even Rancho does it. Why Magnum strut is the exception to the rule is not known.

Comparing Monroe Magnum Strut/Spring Assy image to Rancho Strut/Spring Assy RS551784 Image, show they are essentially identical with exception being the shock paint color, white vs black, and labels. Both are Tenneco products, with images sporting the same spring configuration, pitch and coil count, hardware and in-family dimensions. A hard ride doesn't concern me, and the cost incentive, Rockauto list the 153027 ~$110 less per pair than RS551784. What am I missing here? I probably use Rancho RS7MR in the rear.
