Do nnbs trucks use a 6.5 or 6.75 speaker? are they shallow mount or will a conventional speaker fit? i know i have to make room for the crossovers and tweeters. any preferences in brand, or known sql setups for the tahoes?

as of right now im planning:
kenwood excelon 896 double din
kenwood excelon 6.5 component sets
kenwood excelon 4 channel 100 watts @ 4ohms
JL 1000/1
2 x 15" kicker l7 in huge built to spec box

i could swap subs and go
2 x 12w7 in spec box

I would go with the JL audio for everything! it definitely cost more but its worth it. Also consider Pioneer double din's.
