I drive a 2005 Yukon XL 1500 with the 5.3. About two weeks ago, I heavily degreased my engine bay to attempt to locate an oil leak. Since then, I’ve had my radiator fans randomly turn on after the car is off and stay on until the battery is dead. When the car is turned on, the fans work normally. This showed for the code P0480. Also, P0332 is for the knock sensors and came on the same day I degreased the engine, but no driving issues have been noticed. I did clean out the connector for the knock sensors at the top of the engine bay with electrical cleaner to see if that cleared the code, but it didn’t. Any ideas on if there’s some electrical short somewhere causing these issues? Or if the degreaser maybe seeped into some connector or ground somewhere?

Pull the two connectors on the PCM and check for water migration. The connector seals can leak and let water in to the lower part of the connectors and cause issues. Clean pins with contact cleaner and check pin fitment.
