Clunk/crack noise when steering

Hi all, I have a 2007 tahoe and recently ive been getting this clunk/crack noise that sounds like its coming from the steering shaft or tires everytime i back up and steer the wheel or steer forward. Its like a crack noise briefly but it always does this. ANy idea on what it could be? Is there a TSB on this? Please help.

Sounds like some loose steering components to me. Take it to the dealer, it might just need to be lubed or have someting tightened.

I know I have heard this issue and a loose A arm all the way to the beam that holds the lower arm can cause this.

Thanks guys. I think I found a TSB for this issue. You can read it here http://www.allworldauto.com/tsbs/mmyDetails.php?id=244429 but basically its this : STEERING WHEEL OFF CENTER WHILE DRIVING STRAIGHT, CLUNK NOISE WHILE TURNING, EARLY FRONT TIRE WEAR (PERFORM TORQUE TO TIGHTEN ANALYSIS AND REPAIR AS NECESSARY
