Out of the blue the image from my backup camera appears hazy/cloudy. I tried cleaning the exterior of the lense hoping for a simple fix, no luck. I've also tried messing with the settings on the nav screen and that didn't help. Any ideas??? FYI: This is a oem system on a ltz.

Wildridge,

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue with your vehicle. This condition may be caused by snow/ice, dirt or road salt build-up on the camera lens. If the image is still hazy after cleaning, I recommend consulting with a certified technician for an official diagnosis. They will be able to offer more information after inspection.

Please keep us posted.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me.

I don't think it's a dirt issue but more of an electrical issue. When a DVD is playing and you put it in reverse the screen turns yellow and purple and flickers. Today driving home from church with the family all the lights on the instrument panel lit up, the radio shut off and a message popped up on the dic. From what I've been researching this a common problem a lot of owners have been experiancing.
