Cleaning seat belts

What would you suggest to use to clean the seat belts. I have the tan interior. What kind of cleaner?

I've seen on a detailer forum that some peeps actually stretch them out the door and shut the door and use a pressure washer. Why? I do not know but I seen it. I would think the less stress you apply to them the better, they do have to save your life (potentially).
