Do you by any chance remember how the wiring was for your center console? Here's my situation. Seems like wires were cut while changing this over to a squad car and I can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey I was thinking of buying a 2015 Tahoe Ppv and was wondering if there is anyway to get the back doors to unlock inside without having to buy new doors. I am told there is not. Wanted to see if you all knew any way of getting them to unlock inside without buying new doors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

All you have to do is take the door panel off and connect the metal wire that goes from the handle to the locking mechanism. Very simple and no new parts needed

I sent a buddy over to the forum and he said all the pics are gone.

Sorry about that, I will try find them and upload again.

On a positive note, truck is at 60,000 miles and we still love everything about it.

I was going though the shed on the weekend and found the PPV wheels.

Anyone want the set?

I will sell for $800 + shipping without tires or local pickup with tires.

No. I never pursued the issue further. I believe a person with the correct GM flashing device can supposedly enable the switch circuit.

I just put my DIC in my tahoe and it allows you to have more access to the computer. I believe I had seen something in there about locks and resetting factory settings.

O by the way taking off the door panel can be a pain in the a#@. You can get door panel tools from autozone cheap so you don't need to by new panel clips

I was going through the storage and found my original PPV wheels.

Is there any demand for these?

I did contact him and he said he did not do SUV's.. hence his reply to my inquiry..

"All of my work has been on 2014+ Silverado/Sierra trucks only. Sorry bud.

Thanks, Phil"

But I will continue to find a solution..

Thirdcoast

Came across this thread and wanted to let you guys know I do for the 2015-2019 SUVs what Phil does for the trucks. He and I work together developing harnesses for the two platforms.

Mirrors, center console, factory fog lamps, etc. are some examples.

Send me an email to [email protected] with questions on your specific applications.

So you will be able to integrate the radio controls into the steering wheel and the color popup touch screen into the dash?
How about rear A/C controls in center console?
Rear window controls?
Trailer brake option?
Mirror turn signals? I got the folding part to work, but not the turn signals.

All without affecting he aggressive shifting and power steering and active handling and non-governed engine out put?

The reason I sought out and bought and have kept the PPV these 65,000 miles is for the way the truck accelerates, shifts and turns like a very large sedan rather than an SUV.

In a word, yes, but let me qualify that. Like, Phil, the scope of my work revolves around the wiring needed to add or change features.

Some features only require the necessary circuits to be added in addition to the up-level component (e.g. DL3 mirrors). Others need an existing module reprogrammed or modules added and programmed.

For example, I include the wiring for the rear HVAC controls in the console conversion harness I build. However, BCM programming is necessary because a network address needs to be assigned to the module so the vehicle knows to look for it and accept its input. The same goes for factory heated seats.

Factory trailer brake control requires programming of multiple modules and associated wiring. I am not aware of a successful attempt, but would love to know if someone has.

DL3 mirrors can be added fairly easily. The only options that can’t without additional work is the blind spot alert and surround video camera(present on some Escalade mirrors). However, you can get DL3 mirrors without those options. I have also helped add aftermarket tow mirrors for others.

Some options, like rear window controls on the PPV, I haven’t had a request for in the past. I’m happy to look into it and see what’s needed.

The products I currently offer shouldn’t affect the vehicle characteristics you mentioned that are important to you.

In summary, I enjoy helping folks add features to their SUVs. Aside from my day job, I spend time in the evenings and on weekends researching and building harnesses. My vehicle is a 2015 GMC Yukon SLT which has many of the popular options people add. There are times where I’ll need you to be my eyes and verify things that may not be evident in the schematics.

Finally, keep in mind these harnesses are custom built for the application and I make every effort to mimic factory build quality. I will do my best to help you understand what’s needed to achieve your goal.

Cmatt is in process of helping me upgrade my 17 ppv to factory heated leather buckets and console we are going to try to make everything including rear controls work. I have already upgraded steering wheel but audio controls don’t work. I am also upgrading to the i06 radio. Will post as I get things done. Cmatt has been fast to respond and very helpful so far. Would recommend him if you are doing any upgrades that require wiring.
