I purchased my 2014 PPV in November and am going through this exact same process, but and trying to use 2019 Yukon heated and cooled front seats. And NOW I like you even more ChunkePPV bc here is my DD; a 2001 100 series LC

Also just sent you a pm ChunkePPV
Nice!! Thanks for the reply! Looking good! I love me the landcruiser, I'm working on a 40 series now. I will respond soon to your PM.

Hey guys, the ride quality has been driving me nuts and I did some digging and tried to find a way to get a better ride on the the Tahoe, looks like PPVs have 2 inch lower springs than the normal Tahoe, I like the low look and so I found a way to improve the ride and keep it low. It was a bit tricky because replacement springs are for either left or right fitment, I found out through a little trial and error that, the PPV uses two front right springs. To replace them I used two of part number 25876851. After that I installed a pair of Belltech 2509 drop spindles and man oh man, did it make a big difference, things are still getting settled but even with the 24s it's so much more cushy.

They sit lower? Go figure.

I also decided to work on the rear and add some airbags and replace the shocks for some that were softer

How much difference is there in the electrical connections between the PPV seats and the Escalade seats?
I just picked up some Suburban leather buckets for my SSV and the plugs are completely different. Looks like I got some cutting and splicing to do.

its not too bad if you just want power to the seats, all the switches work when you pretty much all the hots to power, the tricky part is the serial bus line, its green, I think its on the passenger side, once both seats are connected to the serial bus line, the BCM can control them, ie for heated / cooled features, but theres no controls for heated / cooled seats in a PPV you will have to get them from a denali etc and then connect them to the window switch controller, in order to turn them on or off.

Nah, not interested in the heated/cooled part. Just need the basics. Put the seats in it now have 2 small plugs and the leather one I just got have the one big plug that has that roller/latch thing on them.
I watched some video on YouTube where the guy just matched color wire. What didn't have a match he just left disconnected. But didn't indicate if he cut both small plugs or just one.

this page has all the info you need, from what I remember its mostly red wires and a few red/white, the yellow plug with 2 wires is for the airbag in the seat.
