hi, Im having trouble with my central locking on my 2001 tahoe.
I can unlock both with the remote and the button in the car, but if I try to lock with the remote, or the button, the fuse "lock" will break.
driver and passenger dorrs will lock, but not the trunk, so Im assuming that there is a damaged wire somewhere between the rear doors and the trunk, but my electric/wiring skills are verry limited, Im I correct in this assumtion? and where are the wires located, under the floor mat/along the sides, or in the ceiling? hoping to limit my search as much as possible:)

The wiring harness should run up the driver side on the floor.

thanks alot:)
You can just lift up on the rocker panels at each door area and they just pop off easily, then the harness is right there. In the rear area you need to remove the left panel. It’s kind of big but there’s only a couple screws and the seat belt bolt and then it just pops off by pulling/ prying.
